The Golden Triangles Lions Club, which was founded in 1993 is located at the heart of the Golden Triangle in the Marriot. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at noon for lunch.

Much of our time is spent in the field doing a variety of volunteer activities. One of our favorite volunteer activities occurs every Valentines day. Every February 14th our club contacts a local flower shop and helps hand deliver flowers to residents in the Golden Triangle area. What better way to serve the community and raise money to support the San Diego Center for the Blind than spread the joy of love

Our biggest event of the season, “The Day at the Races” occurs at beautiful Del Mar Fairgrounds. We celebrate upstairs at Turf Club all day. This year a past International President attended as we raised $1800 dollars for a variety of local charities and organization!

Our biggest and newest upcoming initiatives are involved with Lions outside the Club level. Our fearless leader, Alice Tana, is the honorably elected Vice District Governor of 4L-6. Her motto of, “Go for Growth” encompasses our growing club of 18 members. We are especially young and especially modest so please do advise us on the way of a good Lion.
